He is named a prophet (nabī) and also a messenger (rasūl), David is included in lists of those who received revelation (waḥy; 4:163) or guidance (hudā; 6:84) from God. In both lists his name appears next to that of his son Solomon. Elsewhere, the Quran explains that God gave to both of them the gifts of "sound judgment" (ḥukm; 21:79) and "knowledge" (ʿilm; 21:79; 27:15). Yet the Quran also ascribes to David merits that distinguish him from Solomon: David killed Goliath (2:251) and received a divine revelation named the Psalms (17:55 uses an indefinite form while 21:105 uses the definite form al-zabūr), presumably a reference to the Psalms or the Psalter (the term zabūr is perhaps related to Hebrew mizmōr or Syriac mazmūrā, "psalm"). The mountains and the birds praised God along with David (21:79; in 34:10 God commands them to do so; cf. Psalm 148:7–10). God made David a "vicegerent" (khalīfa; 38:26), a title that the Quran otherwise gives only to Adam (2:30). This title suggests that, to the Quran, David was something more than a messenger: he was a divinely guided leader who established God’s rule on earth. This role is also suggested by 2:251: "God gave him authority (mulk) and wisdom (ḥikmah) and taught him what He willed. If God did not drive back some people by others, the earth would become corrupt."
Among the things taught to David was the ability to make armour (21:80, 34:10–11), a suggestion that David’s military exploits were the act of God. It is also important that the Quranic reference to David's "wisdom" was sometimes explained by the classical exegetes as the gift of prophecy. The Quran also connects David and Jesus, by insisting that both cursed those Israelites who did not believe (5:78). Moreover, according to the Quran, David was given the ability to distinguish between truth and falsehood when dispensing justice (faṣl al-khiṭāb, 38:20). Furthermore, there is the allusion to a test David was put through, wherein he prayed and repented and God forgave him (38:24-5). Surat Sad (the 38th chapter of the Quran) is also called "the sūra of David"Exegetes explain that since David prostrated when asking God to forgive him, Muhammad was ordered to imitate him and to perform a prostration when reading this chapter.
r/MuslimLounge - A caliphate worthy of a Caliph.(Allah's Raheem) This map shows the expansion of Ottoman Empire expanded out from Anatolia into Southeastern Europe, Iraq, Syria, the Hijāz, Egypt, and North Africa over the course of the sixteenth-century. In terms of rulership and justice, the Ottoman state was both traditional and innovative, integrating elements of both the Sunnī-Jamā‘ī Imamate and the sacral sultanate into its program of governance. The Ottoman Empire was the last large, multi-ethnic land empire of the Middle East; its disintegration in the early twentieth-century gave way to the era of modern nation-states and the challenges of nation-state politics.
r/MuslimLounge - A caliphate worthy of a Caliph.(Allah's Raheem) Delegation of administrative, judicial, and military responsibilities to subordinates was vital for the efficient and effective maintenance of the Umayyad and Abbasid caliphates, and later the empires of the sultāns. This bureaucratic system created multiple political and social orders of khāss (the rulers) positioned above the lower classes (‘amm, the ruled). We have established that the sultāns attained their political authority through the conquest of territories belonging to the caliph-imām. Even though this military activity undercut the caliph-imām’s authority, many Muslims reasoned that the principles of governance that had guided the historic Sunnī-Jamā‘ī Imamate remained unchanged so long as the sultāns provided for the “equitable maintenance” of the various social classes and guaranteed that each retained its “proper place” and received its “due portion of provision and honor.” Thus, the direct rule of sultāns became a justifiable alternative to the Sunnī-Jamā‘ī Imamate. From this general scheme, we can see the relative status of each class and the outlines of a complex network of military personnel, specialized state functionaries, prominent businessmen, and an influential aristocracy all participating, in various ways, in governance and social management. The diffusion of power across the classes of rulers placed limitations on the sultān’s absolute sovereignty and indicates that urban notables exercised some degree of autonomy and local authority in areas outside the jurisdiction of the imperial capital.
r/MuslimLounge - A caliphate worthy of a Caliph.(Allah's Raheem) During the period of the Rāshidūn caliphate, executive authority was concentrated primarily in the hands of the caliph-imām, and he served the community as the chief administrator, military commander, and jurist. However, as the state grew, the maintenance of a large bureaucratic system required the caliph-imām to transfer these responsibilities to trusted deputies through a process of delegation. Supporting the Umayyad caliph-imāms and their dynastic successors, the Abbasids, in executing administrative, military, and judicial tasks were three specific classes of state officials: 1) wazīrs, bureaucrats who served as ministers of state and caliphal advisers; 2) amīrs, field commanders who organized and led military expeditions and governed conquered territories; and 3) qādīs, judges and magistrates appointed by the caliph-imām and charged with rendering binding legal decisions in accordance with Islamic law.
r/MuslimLounge - A caliphate worthy of a Caliph.(Allah's Raheem) The Sunnī Jamā‘ī Imamate necessarily departs from the utopian Medinan community due to the absence of the Prophet. At the center is Muhammad’s deputy and successor (khalīfah/caliph), who is also the commander of the faithful (amīr al-mu’minīn), and the leader of the ummah (imām). Unlike Muhammad, the caliph-imām is not the recipient of divine revelation, and he is not infallible in his personal moral conduct. However, his authority is unique: in addition to being the administrative head of state and chief commander of the military, he is also the foremost arbiter in the discernment of sharī‘ah and responsible for the implementation of Islamic law. In this system, the relationship between God and the ummah is defined by mīthāq (“covenant,” Q 7:172 mentioned above), which is the foundation of dīn, the religious tradition (Islam) inaugurated by the covenant. The members of the community have sworn an oath of allegiance (bay‘ah) to the caliph-imām, which ratifies his authority. A check on the power of the caliph-imām resides in the hands of certain members of the community known as ahl al-hall wa al-‘aqd (literally “the people qualified to unbind and bind”). In theory, the ahl al-hall wa al-‘aqd are representatives within the ummah who act on behalf of all Muslims in appointing and deposing a caliph-imām. In practice, throughout the history of Islamic civilization, “they have consisted of the persons who wielded political power in the capital, acting in association with urban notables and prominent religious scholars.”
r/MuslimLounge - A caliphate worthy of a Caliph.(Allah's Raheem) Beginning in the first half of the tenth century, the Abbasid caliphate began to splinter and the locus of political control diffused across several emerging states ruled by sultāns. The Arabic word sultān appears in the Qur’ān and can be translated as “strength” or “authority.” However, as an honorific title, sultān describes a regional military commander who has seized the reins of power through conquest and governs independently of caliphal administrative oversight. With the rise of sacral sultanates, a system of secular, dynastic law operating outside the purview of shari‘ah courts became more prominent. Known collectively as qānūn, this legal complex encompassed public institutions and activities and was a jurisdiction of the sultān or one of his authorized representatives. In this new model of rulership, the sultān, the recipient of dawla (meaning royal fortune), functioned as a sacral king whose authority was not derived from the ummah, as was the case with the Sunnī-Jamā‘ī Imamate, but rather directly from God.[/font]

Muslim Brothers around the world were furious and enraged with Hajj being abandoned. This crime cannot be overlooked and cannot go unpunished. As well, as the beirut attack which was launched from Persia's Soil with an ICBM (Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile).
These two things have invested in me that all across the world: EVERY SINGLE BELIEVER SHOULD UNITE UNDER A RIB BONE TO DEMONSTRATE THE TRUTH, THE HAQQAH.
The only place to unite at desperate times as these are Medina's province.
